2026 Africa-Bound Trade Outlook and China-Africa Project Briefing Held in Beijing
More than one hundred officials, specialists, local government representatives, entrepreneurs, and journalists discussed the next phase of China-Africa trade and investment.
Forum leaders said demand in Africa was rising for vehicles, machinery, building materials, emergency equipment, and medical devices. Mechanical and electrical products accounted for 55 percent of China's exports to Africa.
The forum expects trade to keep expanding in 2026, with opportunities in renewable energy, electric mobility, cross-border commerce, mobile payments, industrial parks, and agricultural demonstration projects.
Speakers also stressed local operations, technology transfer, sound financial services, and careful management of geopolitical and economic risks.
