Call for China-Africa Digital Cooperation Demonstration Projects Now Open

To implement the outcomes of the September 2024 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, deepen technical and industrial exchanges between China and Africa in the digital sector, and showcase the positive results of China-Africa digital cooperation, the call and selection for China-Africa Digital Cooperation Demonstration Projects is organized in accordance with the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation — Beijing Action Plan (2025-2027).
I. Scope of the Call
China-Africa Digital Cooperation Demonstration Projects (“Demonstration Projects”) shall involve joint participation by both Chinese and African parties and generate positive economic or social benefits. In principle, projects should have been implemented after September 2024 and achieved substantive progress by the time of application. Demonstration Projects fall into two categories: digital infrastructure development and digital transformation.
Digital Transformation
Application-oriented cooperation projects for industrial and sector digital transformation, driving the digital upgrading of industries.
Digital Transformation
Applications should reflect the spirit of joint consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, support the development of digital infrastructure and industrial digital transformation in Africa, and meet the selection requirements for demonstration projects (see the link at the end for details).
II. Application Method and Timeline

Complete the Application Form for China-Africa Digital Cooperation Demonstration Project Selection (available via the link at the end).

Naming Convention
Use the naming format “Project Type (Digital Infrastructure / Digital Transformation) - Applicant Organization - Project Name”.

Submit the Application
Package the application form and supporting documents into a compressed archive and send it to the contact email.（cadc@caict.ac.cn）

Filing Notice & Commitment
Confirm materials are authentic, complete, and compliant before submission
Filing notice: after completing company registration or logging in, the applicant organization shall complete the Application Form for China-Africa Digital Cooperation Demonstration Project Selection as required, and submit supporting documents, cooperation proof, progress descriptions, and other attachments before the deadline.
Filing commitment: the applicant organization warrants that all submitted information and materials are true, accurate, complete, and compliant, and that the project involves no illegal or non-compliant circumstances. Incomplete materials, non-compliant formats, or late submissions will be deemed invalid.
