Coffee Beans from 53 African Partners Gain a Unified Route to China

African coffee beans that meet common phytosanitary requirements can enter China through a regional framework that greatly simplifies previous country-by-country access talks.
China announced unified market access for compliant coffee beans from all 53 African countries with diplomatic ties. Coffee is a major export industry for many of them, and wider access links more producing regions with Chinese consumers.
The rules cover plantation management, processor registration, export inspection and phytosanitary certificates. Regional access does not remove border controls; every shipment must still meet inspection and food-safety requirements.
