Rail professionals from Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya and Ethiopia visited the Qinghai-Tibet Railway to exchange experience in monitoring, dispatch, maintenance and skills development.

The delegation traveled on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and visited dispatch, maintenance and infrastructure units, focusing on smart monitoring, risk alerts and integrated operations under difficult high-altitude conditions.

The exchange coincided with the 50th anniversary of the TAZARA Railway's completion. Participants saw lessons for the TAZARA revitalization project and for railway maintenance and workforce training elsewhere in Africa.
