A second Chinese medical team has arrived in Kinshasa to continue cooperation on epidemiology, laboratory testing, clinical care, infection control and professional training.
China's second Ebola response team arrived in Kinshasa to continue the work of the first group. Its specialists cover public health, clinical treatment, laboratory diagnostics, infection prevention and health quarantine.
The team will work with Congolese health agencies to assess the outbreak and provide technical exchange and training. Congolese representatives said the long-running health partnership has delivered practical support for local public-health capacity.
