Think tanks, universities, chambers and companies examined implementation details and how tariff preferences can support exports, jobs, investment and industrial cooperation.

The Chinese Embassy in South Africa and the China-South Africa Media Club hosted an online briefing for more than 100 representatives from research, education, business and media.

Discussion focused on converting market-access preferences into exports, employment and investment. Participants also noted that companies must understand origin, quarantine and customs rules to make effective use of the policy.
